ISO9001:2015 and ISO14000:2015- Implementation

ISO has made changes to 9001. The changes to 9001 are important and will affect all auditors as well as organisations.

ISO9001 will be released about 23 September.

The presentation will discuss the changes that are relevant to systems implemented against ISO9001:2008 and make suggestions on how to organise the relevant changes.

Tuesday 13th October, 2015

Ningaloo Reef meeting room
108 Stirling Street,
Perth,WA 6000

5.00 to 6.00pm

The discussion will revolve around:

  • The differences between ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 and how this will impact managements approaches to the management system.
  • The alignment requirements between the Quality Management System and the business objectives of the organisation and how this impacts the role of management in an organisation’s business processes and business results.
  • Requirements for documented information and how this impacts business processes
  • Implications of the removal of the requirements for procedures and records
  • Specific requirements associated with the increased focus on process management
  • Alternatives to documents and records that are acceptable for an auditor.
  • The risk based emphasis that explicitly expects organisations to identify and address risks affecting product and service delivery.

ISO14001:2015 was released 15 September. The changes to 14001 are significant and will affect all auditors as well as organisations. These changes are in line with ISO 17021.2. ISO 17021 requires Environmental auditors to understand the operation of test equipment as well as have knowledge of ISO 14001.
